Lizzy Scarlett trained in classical violin since the age of 5, studying under Julian Quirit and Markiyan Melnychenko.

She has completed AMEB exams up to and including Licentiate Diploma (L.Mus.A) and graduated from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Music (Honours).

Lizzy was a participant in the Melbourne Youth Orchestra, University of Melbourne Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestra.
